The best starting point is a room-by-room equipment estimate and a clear contact for the visit. Tell us whether the building will be occupied, which rooms can be released and who can approve equipment disconnection.
For offices, consider reception, meeting rooms and shared facilities as well as desks. Schools and care settings may need a more detailed room order, escort arrangements or restricted access windows. Raise any vetting or induction requirements before booking so these can be confirmed.
We welcome enquiries for Winchester and surrounding areas including Winnall, Kings Worthy, Compton, Shawford, Twyford, South Wonston and New Alresford. Our team is based in Christchurch and visits are arranged in advance.
Send the postcode and any parking or loading instructions with your enquiry. For several locations across the county, see PAT Testing Hampshire. Other established coverage pages include Southampton and Salisbury.
Include the mains-powered equipment within your agreed scope and count every detachable mains lead separately. For a battery-powered laptop, count its mains power supply and any detachable mains lead. Our appliance-counting guide shows how this works.
Note equipment in locked rooms or cupboards, items normally taken off site, and appliances that cannot be disconnected during normal hours. If another organisation owns equipment in your building, agree whether it is included.
Use the calculator below for a standard estimate, or see our current PAT testing prices. Microwave leakage tests are additional to the appliance's electrical test. Tell us about 110V or industrial/commando plugs so the extra testing and charges can be confirmed.
Make the agreed equipment accessible, tell staff what to expect and nominate someone who can help with room access. Identify damaged or suspect items to the responsible person and engineer when the visit is arranged.
Use our preparation checklist to brief your site contact. We will discuss timing against your actual equipment and access, rather than promise the same turnaround for every building.
Your itemised digital results, summary certification and appliance labels help you identify equipment and follow up any issues. Agree site and room names before the visit so your records are useful to the people managing the premises.
See our reports and actual AiO label for an explanation of the documents and labels. Discuss any particular asset references or reporting requirements before booking.
For a school, care setting or larger workplace, discuss the visit plan with AiO.

** While performing testing our engineers will perform minor remedials to failed equipment if possible to ensure any disruptions to the business are minimised.
