Start with the areas that need testing and the times they can be made available. An office, a staffed reception and a working kitchen may all need different access arrangements during the same visit.
Tell us about parking or loading restrictions, entry passes, lifts and any escort requirements. For premises within a managed building, confirm who can authorise access and equipment disconnection. We agree the practical arrangements before booking.
This page covers enquiries for Portsmouth, including Southsea and Cosham. We also welcome enquiries from nearby Portchester, Fareham, Gosport, Havant, Hayling Island and Lee-on-the-Solent. Give us the full site postcode so the location and visit arrangements can be confirmed.
For a wider estate, use our Hampshire coverage page. For a Southampton premises, see PAT Testing Southampton. AiO's Christchurch-based team arranges the visit with your site contact.
List workplace equipment by area: desks and meeting rooms, staff kitchens, cleaning stores and any operational spaces. Identify shared or tenant-owned equipment so responsibility for including it is clear.
Include the mains-powered equipment within your agreed scope and count every detachable mains lead separately. For a battery-powered laptop, count its mains power supply and any detachable mains lead. Our appliance-counting guide shows how this works.
Testing can require equipment to be disconnected. Identify anything that must remain available, including IT, security and operational equipment, so an appropriate access or shutdown window can be agreed. Specialist, fixed-connected or industrial equipment needs its scope confirmed first.
Use the calculator below for a standard estimate, or see our current PAT testing prices. Microwave leakage tests are additional to the appliance's electrical test. Tell us about 110V or industrial/commando plugs so the extra testing and charges can be confirmed.
Your itemised digital results, summary certification and appliance labels help you identify equipment and follow up any issues. Agree site and room names before the visit so your records are useful to the people managing the premises.
See our reports and actual AiO label for an explanation of the documents and labels. Discuss any particular asset references or reporting requirements before booking.
Our visit preparation checklist helps your site contact get ready. For a large building or several addresses, request a tailored quotation.
